Medical technology has made the lives of many people easier and more comfortable in so many ways. Nordic MedTech has a long and successful past, with global giants like Elekta, Gambro and Getinge originating from the region; as well as successful researchers developing, for example, the pacemaker and the dialysis machine. The sector is still going strong and, in this time of financial crisis, remains a safe investment due to the relatively shorter product development times required.
